Azalea Season and Pollinator Gardens
Azalea Season and Pollinator Gardens
Something that you may have noticed in the past couple weeks is that the Azaleas are in full bloom, which is a great indicator that Spring is approaching quickly! It’s officially Azalea season! Since Azaleas are one of the first plants to begin blooming in the Spring, it is a great idea to include them in your pollinator gardens. This way pollinators will be attracted to your garden early in the season, which will help the rest of your Spring flowers thrive to their fullest potential!
Your blooming azalea will keep its flowers until late spring unless you have an encore azalea then you have at least 2 more blooming periods with your shrub between the late spring and early winter.
